Privacy Policy

Habitank is made by Laplace Apps (“we”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use Habitank (the app and related website) and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign in (for example with Google or Apple), we receive basic profile details such as your name, email address, and a unique account identifier.
• App progress. We store habit completions, coins, streaks/flow, tank and fish progress, purchases entitlement status, and related gameplay data so your aquarium stays in sync across devices.
• Usage & diagnostics. We may collect limited technical information needed to run and improve the service (for example crash or performance signals from our cloud providers).
• Purchases. In-app purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We receive entitlement/status information needed to unlock Premium features; we do not receive your full payment card details.

How we use information

• To provide and sync your Habitank account and aquarium
• To process Premium entitlements and restore purchases
• To maintain security, prevent abuse, and fix bugs
• To improve Habitank’s features and reliability

Where data is stored

Habitank uses Firebase (Google) for authentication and cloud storage (Firestore). Your data may be processed on servers operated by Google and other subprocessors needed to run the app.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate Habitank (such as Firebase / Google, and Apple or Google for payments), or when required by law.

Community features

If you use Community rankings, a public display name and a limited tank preview (for example level, score, and décor/fish catalog ids) may be visible to other signed-in players.

Your choices

• You can update your display name in the app.
• You can delete your Habitank account/data from Profile in the app. Some residual copies may remain in backups for a limited time.
• You can revoke Google or Apple sign-in access from your provider account settings.

Children

Habitank is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use of Habitank after an update means you accept the revised policy.
